I will believe a blonde Russian Jew named Rebekkah when I see her. It just sounds so improbable. Or maybe that is wishful thinking because I don't want such a doll to be blonde.

I think the next historical should be a Creole girl from New Orleans. The South is grossly underrepresented, and the cultural possibilities would be so rich. Now if I'm right, someone had better anonymously PM me so I can cash in on my new-found talents for predicting the future and go play the lottery (so I can buy more AG with my winnings, bwahahaha).

Rebecca and Rebekah are the only trademark applications pending for a books series, short stories, stationary, posters, etc. on American History for girls. If the next historical is not name Rebecca/Rebekah they have not gotten far enough along in the process to file a trademark application.

Diane, Shelly, Julie, Emily, and Lia do not have historical bound matter/paper goods trademarks applications (nor do Nellie or Elizabeth, I guess they figure best friend stories fall under the main character's trademark). I am guessing, just guessing Diane, Shelly, and Julie might be a whole separate line of today girls or something to replace Hopscotch Hill. Who knows. Diane, Shelly, Julie, and Emily trademarks were all applied for at the same time.

Lia's trademark application was filed along with Jess' application.

I have tried MANY times to get onto the panel. A friend of mine really kindly let me use her username when she was still a part of it to see Elizabeth before she came out. Obviously, if you were a member back then, you remember that it was wayyyy too difficult to keep my mouth shut. [img]redface.gif[/img] .
Whichhhh is probably why I do not get accepted into the panel!
It's probably better if I don't know about the new stuff anyway. I LOVE surprises!! [img]wink.gif[/img]
